Did you know the Department of African American and African Studies is 5 years old? 

It is!! I, Dr. Ruth Nicole Brown, am so full of excitement and gratitude for each of you and the contributions you’ve made and continue to make towards our aspirations. 

Join me for the annual AAAS Chair walk on Wednesday, September 18th at 4pm. We will begin in the department (North Kedzie Hall N219), take a celebratory walk and return back to the department to close out at 5:30pm.
