Calling all AAAS Majors and Minors! You are invited to meet with the Chair of African American and African Studies, Dr. Ruth Nicole Brown, for extended introductions, a walk around the Department and campus, and have an opportunity to build community with other AAAS students. We are walking as arrival; walking into our dreams; walking as Black feminist practice. If you attended last year, you know the vibes! If you missed out, you’re in for a treat.

The event will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2022 from 5:00 – 6:30 PM, beginning at North Kedzie Hall in N219

Pizza and an ice cream truck will feature as part of this event.

In case of inclement weather, the Walk will remain indoors in the AAAS space in North Kedzie Hall.
