Calling all AAAS Majors and Minors! You are invited to meet with the Chair of African American and African Studies, Dr. Ruth Nicole Brown, for extended introductions, a walk around the Department and campus, photo opportunities, and to build community with other AAAS students.

The event will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 – 6:30 PM, beginning at North Kedzie Hall on the 2nd floor in the new Department of African American and African Studies space.

Pizza and an ice cream truck will feature as part of this event.

In case of inclement weather, the Walk will remain indoors in the AAAS space in North Kedzie Hall.
