UPLIFTING VOICES, EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES
Join our very own Dr. Ruth Nicole Brown with the School of Journalism for a discussion surrounding the power, prominence and prevalence of Hip-Hop and Black culture. As we near the end of the 50th year of Hip-Hop, join us for an immersive and educational experience as we engage in essential and critical discussions surrounding the power, prominence and prevalence of Hip-Hop and Black culture in our greater Lansing community and society as a whole. The conversation will explore how Hip-Hop continues to serve as an avenue for building community, inspiring progressive movements and redefining a sense of unity within our shared communities.
